Lotus Germination:
1) Use a file to gently file the seed until you see the white endocarp. Do not sand any deeper.
2) Soak seeds in water, being sure to keep the water between 75-80 degrees. Change water 2x's per day. Use a "waterproof" heated propagator mat to keep them warm at all times. Wait for seeds to start to expand and swell slightly.
3) Keep in a sunny location, or brightly lit area.
4) Expect germination within 10 days.
